Nominations

We are seeking nominations for innovators, innovation champions and innovation thought leaders.  You can nominate yourself or your own company or organisation.  You can also nominate another company, business or organisation.

We’ve found companies, people and organisations love being nominated for an Innovation Award.  So, if you know a company, individual or organisation who is leading the way or supporting others with innovation, then please put them forward; it takes about 3 minutes to make a nomination.

Key points:

• There is no cost to make a nomination.
• The company, individual or organisation you nominate must be UK based.
• You can nominate several people or organisations.
• You can nominate a person or organisation in more than one category.
• You must complete one form for each nomination. For example, if you want to nominate someone in two categories, you must complete and submit the form twice.

Innovation Champions are those companies and organisations who support businesses with innovation.  This could be a university, catapult, an accountancy firm, a consultancy practice, a design firm etc.

Thought Leaders support others with innovation by providing finance, facilities, inspirational platforms (e.g. meetings, memberships, speaking opportunities etc.) or technology. 

The process is simple.  

• Nominations close on 16^th
• The judges review the nominations and boil them down to a shortlist of ten.
• The shortlist goes to a public vote in June which determines the five finalists in each category.
• The finalists are invited to a judging interview on 11^th September at Millennium Point.
• An independent judging panel of 3 assesses them against five criteria (please click here). The highest scores determine the winner and the highly commended in each category.
• The results are announced at the ceremony at the Eastside Rooms on 21^st November 2025.
