1. Why

The need and ability to constantly innovate is widely recognised as one of the major contributors to business success. Innovation is vital for the UK’s economic growth, productivity and prosperity.

The Innovation Awards recognise, celebrate and reward the businesses, organisations and individuals who are dedicated to innovation.


2. What

The Awards has 4 main categories:

  1. The Innovators- in the manufacturing, engineering, sustainability, tech, services and community spaces.
  2. Individual Innovators- Female, Male and Young Innovator of the Year.
  3. Innovation Champions– for those who support companies with innovation.
  4. Innovation Thought Leaders-recognising those who create the plaforms, finance etc. for innovation.

3. How

Companies, organisations and individuals are nominated by others.  

The judges assess the nominations and put forward a shortlist.  The shortlist goes to a public vote leading to 5 finalists in each categor.   

Finalists were interviewed by an independent judging panel of 3 judges in June. Judges come from a range of organisations including NatWest, EY, Aston University, UoB and Make UK.

4. A Premium Table of 12

Price includes the drinks reception, 3-course dinner, entertainment, your logo on the back of the programme, an exclusive gift for each guest, plus 2 bottles of white, two bottles of red, a bottle of Prosecco. two buckets of beers and two jugs of juice.
